Weekly Lectionary Readings

A NOTE ON OUR READINGS:

The reading plan (or “Lectionary”) we’re following is taken from the Revised Common Lectionary and features a thematic, cohesive, weekly reading including passages from the Old and New Testament, with additional weekly portions of each from the Psalms and Gospels respectively. The lectionary is based on a 3 year cycle that will cover a large portion from every book of the Bible if you follow along in the daily readings. We believe the better we know our scriptures the better we will come to know the Father, his son Jesus Christ, and the  Holy Spirit. The better we know our God and his redemptive, gracious heart, the better we will be able to represent Him to one another and to the world around us. Additionally, you can request to receive these readings every week in your inbox by emailing hello@princetonbaptist.ca. Please enjoy this resource. It is our prayer that it will equip you to  grow in intimacy with Jesus Christ and with his church knowing that we’re all drinking from the same cup.

It allows you to go back one previous day if you miss a day as well, but it does not allow you to see all the readings for the week at a glance. *Note* The app will open automatically to the “semi-continuous” tab at the top. You’ll want to click on the “Complementary” tab to find the readings for our local church. There is also a prayer drop down you can click on to help guide your prayer if desired.
