Be fruitful and multiply. There are two parts to this sentence. Kyle Nichols shares a message on Genesis 1 and 2, breaking down what it means to be fruitful and what it means to multiply
- there is a false freedom we chase when we try to be autonomous from God
- we are burdened with choices on what is the right thing to do with our life. God has formed each of us with a purpose.
- the bible is not JUST who God is, it is also who we are in light of the who He is.
- God sees our anxieties pile on and it grieves Him because it is not what He has given us
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
